Migliarina Chenin Blanc

‘The 2019 explodes with primary fruit, white pear, orchard blossom; fragrant and clean. There is a hint of creamy, almost porcelain-like smells linking with notes of almond paste and suggesting an alluring richness to follow. This richness stays composed with a mineral line balancing the textural mouthfeel, ending with a surprising length and salty lick. There is a nice creamy weight to the wine cleaned out by a pithy satisfying bitter bite at the end. There is so much character here, delicious and moreish.’ – James Pietersen (April 2020)

‘From 40 to 45-year-old bush vines in Stellenbosch, 100% natural ferment, no filtration, finning, or cold stabilization. Very clean fresh fruit.’ – Carsten Migliarina
